The Covid 19 pandemic has been and continues to be an unmitigated disaster for artists and especially for free-lance musicians who are now deprived of a means of making a living.
Being a voluntary organisation with no ties, the temptation not to run events this season was very strong but the desire to help musicians get back on their feet and the impulse not to let the pandemic have the better of us won in the end....
