No stranger to our audience, London born Katherine Hunka is the leader of the Irish Chamber Orchestra and regularly directs from the leader’s chair. As a soloist she has performed in the Wigmore Hall, The Royal Albert Hall and The South Bank Centre in London. She is a wonderful player with great empathy towards her music and her audience. Finghin Collins, who recently gave a stunning recital in Dublin NCH for his 40th birthday is Ireland’s premier pianist with an expanding international career.

We pay tribute to our former Music advisor, composer Ian Wilson, who contributed so much to the development of Con Brio. Approaching our 20th birthday we acknowledge the debt we owe to his patient monitoring and brilliant music lectures which introduced us to the joy and beauty of chamber music.
